Akshay Bhatia Stars in Oakley Meta HSTN Super Bowl Commercial

Akshay Bhatia has rapidly ascended the ranks of professional golf, the left-handed prodigy whose silky swing and composed demeanour have drawn comparisons to some of the game greats. In 2026, Bhatia added a new dimension to his growing profile by starring in an Oakley Super Bowl commercial, a milestone that placed the young golfer in front of one of the largest television audiences on the planet. The Super Bowl commercial slot is among the most coveted in advertising, and Oakley decision to feature Bhatia signalled the brand confidence in his crossover appeal.

In the commercial, Bhatia wore the Oakley Meta OW8002 HSTN sunglasses, a frame that represents the brand fusion of optical performance and connected technology. The HSTN oval lens shape and streamlined profile bring a contemporary edge to Oakley design language, moving beyond the pure sports aesthetic into territory that feels equally at home on the course and in culture. On Bhatia, the dark lenses and sculptural frame projected a quiet intensity that suited both the high-stakes commercial environment and his own on-course persona. The OW8002 HSTN is built for athletes who demand more from their equipment, and Bhatia endorsement of the frame in a Super Bowl context was a powerful statement.

The 2026 Super Bowl commercial marked a significant moment in Bhatia career, elevating him from a rising talent on the PGA Tour to a recognisable face in mainstream sports culture. The Oakley HSTN, with its blend of technical sophistication and understated style, proved a fitting vehicle for an athlete whose best years still lie ahead.
